The official Swim-a-Thon fundraising numbers have been finalized, and we now know our ICE CREAM PARTY contest WINNER. First, before we get to that very exciting announcement, all countries and Stingrays should know that this year's Swim a Thon was a big success. 2014 Club Excellence Program Results The Stingrays scored 14,618 points to earn a Silver award for our under 18 National & Junior National performances during the summer of 2013. This award recognizes our ability as a team to place athletes at the highest levels of competition. Our finish was 36th out of thousands of USA Swimming teams, we were third in the state of Georgia, and first in our area, more than doubling the score of other local teams. The Stingrays had another great weekend of FAST Swimming at the Mountain View Aqautic Center at the RAYS hosted IMX Invite. There were over 40 new state cuts achieved at the meet. During this time of the season, the coaches are not only wanting the swimmers to swim fast but also getting the small things better as the season progresses.
