Bryan Lundquist representing the RAYS at the World Championship Trials narrowly missed making the WC team by finishing 4th in the 50m Fr with a time of 21.77. To make the team, you have to finish in the top 2. Bryan also barely missed the American Record in the 50m Fly going 22.26 (22.14 AR) Bryan swims the 100 Fr on Friday. Hixon Invite: THANKS FOR A GREAT MEET RESULTS TM RESULTS FILE

The RAYS were victourious at the 2009 GA State Open Water Championships, held in Macon, GA (June 20th) There was a 5K, 3K and 1K swims - Congrats 5k Swim Alec Cohen (15-18 Boys Winner, Mens Overall Winner) 3k Swim James Goodin (15-18 Boys Winner, Mens Overall Winner) Adrienne Pilchard (15-18 Girls Winner, Womens Second Overall) Special recognition to Tyler Chesser who competed in ALL 3 races

The RAYS swam against some great competition at the Pilot Invitational. Several Olympians were present at the meet and several RAYS had the opportunity to compete with them. All 9 RAYS swam great and made numerous finals. RESULTS Now we get ready for a highly competitive Hixon Invite in two weeks.

The Betsy Dunbar swim meet was a success at the Georgia Tech pool this past weekend! Concerning how fast the meet went with the new "Chase starts" this kids swam really well. We had a bunch of first Long course swimmers this weekend, and they all went best times :) And we had a bunch of kids swim for the first time, the 100M Butterfly! Congrats to: Cassie Franklin, Nicole Ronczkowski, Erin Valle, Matt Stanley, Trip Campbell, Brittany Bowen, Natalie Campbell, Ashley Justus, Zach Franklin! Way to swim fast this...
