Shannon O'Malley placed 13th in the 100 BR with her first National time of 1:12.0. While her teammate Brian McClintock took 24th in the same event in a 1:05.4, just .20 off the National cut. In other RAYS highlights Kim Carducci had a best time in the 200 Fr with a 2:06.8 & her teammate Sammie Bosma also had a best time of 2:07 in the same event . Alex Cohen had some nice swims at Junior Nationals today. Competing in the 400 Fr, Alec split a 4:03, just off his life time best. In the 100 Fly Alec broke the 58 barrier for the first time with a 57.5

Shannon O'Malley capped a great first day at Junior Nationals with a 23rd place finish in the 200 BR. Shannon's time of 2:37 was a short course National qualifying standard. In other superb RAYS action Sammie Bosma swam a strong 200 Fly in a season best 2:22.0. Alec Cohen 200 Fly 2:06.7 Best Time. Brian McClintock 200 BR 2:24. Best Time.
