- Mutual of Omaha Duel in the Pool – 5th edition
- USA vs. Europe – Europe will include an All Star team from Europe with 18 countries represented.
- December 16-17, 2011 – half the meet on Friday night, the other half on Saturday afternoon. Friday night from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.
- Georgia Tech Aquatic Center – site of 1996 Olympic Games.
- Short-course meters (25m).

- 22-men and 22-women selected for each side
- Scoring will be: individual races, 5-3-1, relays, 7-0
- Fifteen events for each gender (13 individual and 2 relays)
- Prize money: $105,000 total. $1,500 for the winner of each race; $15,000 for world records (divided equally among all world records).

- Europe – Lotte Friis – won gold and silver medals at both the 2009 and 2011 World Championships in the 800m and 1500m freestyle events. Also won a bronze medal in 2008 in Beijing in the 800m free.
- Europe – Marleen Veldhuis – gold medalist from 2008 Olympic Games for the Netherlands in the 400m free relay. Also won a bronze medal at the 2011 World Championships in the 50m free.
- Europe – Markus Rogan – double silver medalist in the 100m and 200m backstroke behind Aaron Peirsol at the 2004 Olympic Games. Swam at Stanford in college.
