Our History and Purpose
Stingrays Swim School is a division of Stingrays
Swimming, a year-round competitive swimming program associated with
USA Swimming. As a 15 year member of this community, Stingrays Swimming
believes it is important to promote water-safety, through swim instruction,
to our neighbors. Our Swim School utilizes the nationally known
Swim America program.
Our Program
Our intimate classes, with a 5:1 ratio, offers
your child invaluable individual attention, in a peer setting. Every
instructor is a certified SwimAmerica instructor/coach. Our instructor/coaches
participate weekly in a continued swim instruction education program
designed to further enhance their skills.
The SwimAmerica program consists of 10 Stations.
Between Station 1, blowing bubbles, and Station 10, swimming all
4 strokes (backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle), a
natural progression of floating, kicking, arm strokes, etc. is taught
by our certified instructors. Students work on their individual
needs at a their own pace with encouragement and guidance from the
instructor/coach.

Our classes are available at the following
location during the winter schedule:
- Brookstone I, Acworth
- Eagle Watch Sub Division, Woodstock

Our classes meet twice a week, Monday - Thursday
for 1/2 hour or Saturdays for 45 minutes.
